Speedmaster Racing finally here...
Not the most popular speedmaster I believe amongst fellow purist but I just could not resist the orange accent which is one of my favourite colours! Also ordered orange strap to go with it!

Yes it was and thank you Nicolas. This was in every respect an odd year for my watch passion and not a typical year either! I dont usually get so many new pieces in a year...
Hard to believe a year ago i had only one watch left in my “collection” (i guess it is no longer a collection with one watch) and I even tried to see if I could live with only one watch. It lasted 3 months and I guess you guys know the rest! Truth be told i sold about 6 watches a year ago as I had lost my passion for each one of them (sometime after only a few months)...(even sold the two Rolex OP I had gotten a few months ago (the red and the yellow because they were fun) but not the DNA I guess i am looking for). So I went for the references this year I had been lurking the most but had yet to get (like GO, ALS, PAM, and now this Speedmaster).
Only time will tell if I will keep all the references I got and still have this year, hoping for lasting passion on each one!
Now I have to stop - at least until 2021!
Yup i can do that! Not sure how long I will be able to wait once 2021 is upon us :-)

Thanks SF! I had ordered it several months ago but as it kept being delayed my AD was tempting me with other references as he got them in stock
Still have to figure out how to remove a few links from the bracelet but i think i will like it!

Not yet dear Count! I resisted! I hesitate because one dive watch are not my favorite and second titanium watch are too light for me (like to feel some weight on the wrist)...
That said the vintage feel of the 007 is still very tempting

And this one is more versatile then the red coral royal OP I got earlier this year (which I already sold! - but that is another story I guess)

There are so many great variations of the Speedmaster out there — it simply remains to pick the one (or more 😉) that speaks to you. I think this a great version, and I dig the orange accents — distinctive and interesting! it definitely has its own character. Enjoy!!
Thanks Moana43. In a way this is a nice thing about speedmasters. Some might say there are too many variant, but other would see an opportunity to find you like!
I personally prefer that to other alternative from some competitor where choices are ... well very limited, assuming you can find one
