I met someone the other day who was married at a planetarium, so his wife bought him a Speedmaster, which all of us here know has a lot of legitimate history with NASA and space exploration. A beautiful piece with watch nerd cred, thematic relevance, and true sentimental value to its owner. A lovely gesture!

What a lovely gesture ! And a great choice among the many variants of the modern Speedy! The FOIS is one of the most charming present offerings...

and a charming model with its smaller guardless case, dauphine hands, etc., which gives this watch a strong vintage vibes. I adore this model!

Thank you for sharing Journe1304!

Cheers! Abel

Lucky guy! And congrats to her for such a gesture. [nt]

I should have organised my wedding to be in the Isle of Man.
Maybe the wife would have bought me a Roger Smith piece ๐Ÿ˜œ

With my luck, we'll get married in Malaysia . . .

I worked with a colleague who had one of these pieces and it looked great on him.  Makes me kind of want one too!
