A few questions as I need to by a dress watch and it’s down to GP and Omega. I already have a couple of Seamasters so with regard to GP (I’m looking at the 1945)...
1. Did you buy it directly from GP? 2. Is there an opportunity to return the watch for a full refund (not an exchange)? 3. Was the watch accurate...did it need to go back for adjustment. When is the recommended service supposed to be performed? 4. How has your over all experience with GP been?

To shortly address your questions. 1. No it is LE from 2001 made in 2001 samples so only second market and if some AD have it tucked away somewhere. 2. I think this depends on seller. 3. It is recommended that watch is serviced and adjusted every 5 to 7 years also after purchase all watch go to my watchmaker for full service and or overhaul....after service and adjustment all is perfect. 4. Owning more than dozen G-Ps I'm very happy with all of them no more or less trouble than with any other brands I own. Cheers D
