Girard-Perregaux Two Register Chronographs
By: blomman Mr Blue : January 3rd, 2018-03:31
Fashion changes over time...
But the base is still the same!
Girard-Perregaux Two Register Chronographs:
Ref 6557 on top of 49529.
Approximately 60 years apart.
40mm for the 49529, 38mm for the 6557.
Both manual movements.
DNA still there!

Crystal clear display, no clutter. No superfluous text. No date. Perfect and looks great. Regards Kev.

Well, different times, different fashions!
Back in the days you often saw "Waterproof" or "Antimagnetic" on the dial.
Now we see a lot of "Automatic" and "Chronograph"...
But I agree with you, I prefer the cleaner look.

Stunning old lady. 60 years old but so pure. It’s bright-eyed and bushy-tailed 😉
