I see you are one of the lucky one to get that reference! Stunning!

I would love to get my hands on one of those!

Same here. Tried very hard, but no luck

Thank you, indeed I was very lucky to be able to get this one ...

Did you have to order it well before the announcement to secure one?

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : June 5th, 2022-21:54

To be clear - I wish that things worked differently ...

 By: als1678 : June 5th, 2022-22:23
But yes - it was a combination of being on the right mailing list as a previous client and being quick to act. I am not 100% sure, but my guess is that by the time of the official announcement all pieces were probably sold out.
Clearly both Chopard and Revolution underestimated the potential interest. Easy to say with hindsight!

Stunning piece! It was too late once I discovered this release! 😩

Thank you for the comment! I am not obsessed with having super rare pieces, certainly wish they made more ...

Stunning is the operative word! Love this dial.

Thank you! It is vintage inspired, but I am glad they went down that path.

 By: als1678 : June 6th, 2022-01:11

Vintage inspired?

 By: Geo : June 7th, 2022-16:07
Wasnt it inspired by the Laurent Ferrier?

LF did not invent the sector dial ... But yes, it came after the LF.

 By: als1678 : June 7th, 2022-16:49

Do you know who invented the sector dial the way it looks?

 By: Geo : June 9th, 2022-07:22
As far as now I could not find another one.

We have all seen of course sector dials on vintage omega and longines watches.

It seems that those were really widely spread. Revolution mentions consulting one of the great collectors - Auro Montanari and his archives tryings to get an inspiration for the dial. I personally believe the story. I have no idea what exact watch they picked, but here is one example borrowed from Reddit

The 3-9-12 numeral configuration can be seen in many watches.

Oh wow ! Which reference is this ?

Amazing looking piece !

Thank you! It is 25 piece limited edition they did with revolution.

Supernice watch!

Thanks!

Very cool case and dial!

 By: KCLQMULKU : June 5th, 2022-19:05

Thank you! It might not be obvious, but the watch is very slim, and the movement is not to be ignored as well!

 By: als1678 : June 6th, 2022-01:09

Amazing movement!

 By: KCLQMULKU : June 6th, 2022-06:14

Huge congrats!

 By: @lberti : June 5th, 2022-19:16

Thank you!

 By: als1678 : June 6th, 2022-01:04

Amazing watch. Do you know what is the difference in terms of finishing between this movement and the 3.96?

 By: ChetBaker : June 6th, 2022-09:57

Thank you! I think the finishing is comparable. The new anniversary piece with officer's back has Geneva seal, so I guess a bit higher level.
