Blancpain

Hi
I have a Fifty Fathoms incoming.

1) I need a short strap, where can I get one?
My local AD does not have any, says it will take a while for them to
get yada yada yada (giving me the run around as I did not buy from them)

2) What other straps are out there as other options?

3) What do I need to order to change straps? Or should I just wait for my AD
to get the strap in however long it takes and let them change it for me?

I need a short strap as I have 6.8 in wrists. The regular strap can fit but does
not look good with all that extra on one side.

For both of them I bought the tool set which makes the changing of straps very easy. Furthermore, a rubber diving strap with the buckle is included in the package.

Blancpain is having both Barennia leather straps and crock straps for FF. I have both and they are of very high quality. I would say that in case your AD is not performing like you expect, go to the nearest Blancpain Boutique. From there you will at least get really good service.

I'll post during the weekend a couple of pictures at least of the leather bands. At the moment my SS is with black Barennia leather and the RG one is with light brown Barennia. Black croco will be asy to imagine when you will see these.

Thanks, I will likely give them a call on Monday.
I wish my local AD had them in stock, it would make it all
much quicker and easier.

Not sure if I really want to buy a strap change kit when I would
not likely be changing the strap often.

FF got here today, I must say I LOVE it!
Previous owner added two holes and utilizing those I have
to say the watch fits me PERFECT! I do not like all the extra
tail though so after some further trips and discussions I have now
started to deal direct with the owner of my local AD and he has also
release some staff who were not very pleasant to deal with. Anyway
AD is calling tomorrow to order me a short strap, I will wear it as is for
now but I can only tell how amazing it will be when on the proper strap for
me.

Really a STUNNING piece, I have seem them in the wild, handled them in the
AD but you really have to put it on for a while to appreciate it and how well it wears
even on a smaller wrist.

I wish they made the sail cloth strap with red stitching to play off the second
hand, now that would be STUNNING!
