...and I was looking for a special treat for my 40th birthday(in April next Yeay LoL), was looking for a vintage FF from 1971, but it was a bit tricky, I have to study more about those babys since there are a lot of reps and rep parts out there.

And the tradition from Le Brassus is also a factor.

As far as the vintage FF, you are right....
There are many fakes out there so you need to be very careful....

But research is part of the journey and thus enjoyment....

It is good to see a modern and successful re interpretation of one of my favourite vintage diving watch.

And when the pic gives it justice, it is the cherry on the cake.

Had a custom stingray strap made for the FF

The strap is 115/75 and its made to fit the BPFF with 23mm lugsize, also made to use the OEM buckle. The skin is VERY soft and comfortable, and the lining is leather, I had it custom made locally here in Gothenburg, Sweden Some more pics: Greetings from Sweden (If you want one i maybe can help, PM me in that case)

Maybe I would go for one which is a little bit thicker, but I am not sure if it will fit my wrist anyway.
Should give it a try/thought when I am in Paris at ABP, next time
