I am a big fan of the Star Wheel, and mostly of the Millenary Star Wheel, but this one doesn't lack charm nor beauty and I must confess that I didn't know this dial version.

The back is so so, but the front... Wow!

Never heard or seen this before

Quite nice. I'm guessing it's a small diameter . . . 37mm or so?

36 mm. [nt]

Such a stark difference to code...8-)

A totally different song, indeed. [nt]

It would be a hard choice...

 By: ronhan : April 15th, 2019-03:48
...between this one and the Millenary Star Wheel in blue!
(If I had the opportunity only... :-P)

I can understand that. I would favor the Millenary Blue, though, but this one has a lot of charm. [nt]

I've seen a bunch of Starwheels come up over the last several years but never like this. I'd seen it in the catalog and marked it as a favourite!

It's by far the most interesting and maybe most contemporary of the versions I've seen for sale so far.

Thanks for your feedback, my friend. [nt]

1990s at their best! Lovely piece 😍 [nt]

Totally agree. The 90's very not an easy time for watches, but this one is one of the worthy exceptions. [nt]

personally I prefer this version to the Millenary Star Wheel
even if it is more rare.

Same here, I didn't know this one. Thanks! [nt]

Always been a big fan of the Starwheel Nico...shame AP did not re-release it with the Code 11

 By: holdemchamp1225 : April 15th, 2019-08:39
maybe it will be something to consider for AP in the future. Imagine a Royal Oak with the starwheel function...just WOW. I would wait in line for that one smile

A Starwheel in the Code 11.59 would be an excellent idea! +1 [nt]

Thank you, Nico!  It's not that often that I get stumped with watches, and, thus, I find it a true pleasure when I am surprised!

Thank you for sharing!  smile

Kind regards,

Always a pleasure to share the uncommon. [nt]

Funny how you mostly publish post of watches where the first thing i think of is: "look how they used to be and what they became."

By: Pour le Mérite : April 15th, 2019-09:06
I know it's lame to say the past was better but look... watches became too mainstream and we can see how it affects some of the most prestigous watchmakers in a negative way.
