A JLC collectors and friends dinner in Singapore
JLC Singapore organized a cosy dinner for some collectors tonight. I am thankful to be invited for the event. It was a fun night to see some PuristS and close friends and to make many new friends over dinner and watch sharing. Our Singapore based Purist and JLC guru Stefan Ma also shared his collection experience with us - very educational and enlightening. I was also asked to share a bit of my experience as a young JLC collector but to be honest, my sharing was very shallow as I am still a learner in JLC

Johan the JLC retail manager in Singapore shared about the famous Atmos clocks and also showcased 3 vintage Atmos clocks to us including the famous Presidents' Atmos.
Some iconic and boutique special pieces were presented during the dinner. The chocolate Reverso was especially appealing to me when I wore it on my wrist. It was hard to return it!
Thank you JLC Singapore for inviting and organizing this lovely dinner.

Wish I attended the event, Robin.
From what I see, the watches were top, especially this Duometre UTT which is very dear to my heart, and the evilish Reverso Red!
As for friends... All great guys.
JLC SG knows how to feed the link between his friends, collectors and the brand!

I agree that the sharing was a nice touch, and I really liked Stefan's account of how he made new friends like Blomann through this hobby. A good reminder that while we enjoy the watches, the company we keep and the friendships we develop as fellow JLC lovers is just as important. I am grateful to have been part of it, and to have made new friends last night.
Like you Robin, I was also captivated by the chocolate Reverso. Delightfully different! Plus the Fagliano cordovan strap is a revelation. In fact, in the background you can see my neglected Reverso Duo on the table looking jealously at this new interloper on my wrist ;-)
All in all, a wonderful evening, and thanks to everyone who was there and made it enjoyable for all of us.

I had a wonderful time at the dinner event and also catching up with old and new friends. The food and wine were excellent ! Since quite alot has already been said, I just want to share my favourite for the evening is the JLC Perpetual Calendar with 8 days power reserve. It may not be the most complicated or expensive piece there but the balance of the dial and its features cased in stainless steel(low profile) are what draws me to it.
