......of course, I have never owned the Duo and owned (but sold) my 5070G. As you know, I have played with the idea of getting a second 5070 to go with my P..... your picture goes a long way to deciding which 5070 would be a perfect match for the P. I know you have a soft spot for the black dial, and i also have a soft spot for the rose gold version (a friend has one and it is spectacular).... but actually, I do think if i went down the path of a second 5070, I would probably go G. Your picture shows the watch so well....

... I would chose the PP, I´m so partial to chronos! An this PP chrono is simply superb. Not to say I don´t like the JLC, just thinking which one (only one) I would chose.

I kept thinking in your sentence: "these are pieces to admire, not to read the time". You described beautifully and in few words, the escence of our passion!!

i would say that mechanically speaking, the Duometre wins. In terms of sophistication, too.

But in terms of coolness, the Patek wins.

So, you can't go wrong, here.

My chrono itch is starting again and the JLC Duometre Chrono is indeed a strong candidate should I get my first JLC!
