We had a little dinner with roughly 50 guests at a very nice cliff top home in auckland and yes he was wearing a RG perpetual watch. For a bloke with a background as an accountant he was very engaging and came complete with sound effects whilst trying to explain the noise a " lord of the rings type contraption" makes in the reverso repeater. He was very happy that i was able to recommend a route for his 1 hr 45 minute run he would be doing this morning as part of this training for the upcoming Lausanne marathon.i was also able to provide directions for him to buy a french rugby jersey today as hes going to the big game tonight , All Blacks Vs France.

Jerome Lambert is indeed a great Monsieur, very speed, too.

As for the game, in less thn two hours, now, I'm sure tha ABs will be at the rendez vous, I'm less sure about France.

ive bought jerome a mixed necklace of garlic and onions to wear to the game and help him blend in with the locals.

tonights game is the 50th test between the all blacks and france and its also the richie mcaws (the all black captain) 100th test. he will become the first ever all black to play that many tests.
