Maybe this could be my very 1st Reverso!
Btw, would you happen to know, or be able to say if the special piece that is to be unveiled at SIHH would be a Platinum piece?
Just what you know!
Stephen
Thanks for the great photos and video Ed. Like everyone, I like the proportions on this Reverso. It seems just right, like a beautifully upsized GT case. I like especially the elegance of the lugs on the RT.
BTW, it's ironic that they didnt think to ship the RT with the solid back facing up like it was intended for, that would have averted the cracked glass!
Actually the reverso with the '1931' dial has already been re-edited (in its original size though) 30 years ago
So, that makes this 'tribute' the first re-edition of a re-edition
Original re-edition:
To me, there's nothing like the original... (note: the non-luminous dial on this version)
But I must say that this new 'tribute' seems very appealing in this slim format !
(However, I would have once again saved the 'ultrathin' name for a genuine ultrathin watch though, but marketing is marketing, and there has been already so many different 'grande' sizes that it becomes hard to name a new format these days)
Let's see it in the flesh, but I think I am ready to liket it ! (though I think it will be a bit big for me still)

Thank you for the report - this does look irresistible.

That 976 looks awesome on you your wrist. This is perhaps my favorite photo of the 976 "in action" -- I refer to it whenever I am thinking about the 976 -- which is pretty often.
Best,
