Master Calendar date hand problem
Hi Guys
I recently got this new model Master Calendar (used), when I set the date hand using the 4 o'clock position push button, I might have done it during the 10pm to 3am zone. The hand suddenly became misaligned and does not respond to the push button very well (sometime move, sometime doesn't)
Could I have dameged the movement? Any had experience this before? I heard that modern day watches are tough enough and don't have to worry about this rule anymore? Maybe JLC is just a tad delicate. I am getting a quote from the service centre now, hope it is not too much to fix.
On every calendar, except on the Ulysse Nardin or the Moser
If you change the Date between 10 PM and 3 AM, you may damage your watch.
It is not specific to JLC at all.
Indeed, let's hope it won't be too expensive to repair!

fragile movement
Not a good start with my Master Calendar, didn't expect it to be that fragile, just a slight poke on the push button! I suppose this is a delicate more complicated movement than other watches I have. I did similar things before to my other watches and they all survive. Will share more with you wen I have it fixed.

You got the watch used, if I'm correct...
So you don't know of the previous owner treated it...
Which can also be an important factor when we speak about reliability or fragility.
It is not more delicate than other Calendar movements, IMO.
