So the feature is more of a bonus visually than a practical one compared to, let's say, dual time zone function. If I am not mistaken the alarm will still be set off when you happen to be close to the hour hand.

You are right, of course, we do not speak very often of the EWA on this forum. I wonder how successful it has been for JLC, too. But perhaps it appeals more to those customers who do not spend their days and nights on this Forum. We are definitely an odd breed here. ;-)
With the Memo Int'l and the Master Memovox to be introduced in 2010, JLC now has a pretty full line up of current in-production alarm watches that include the NSA, the EWA, the two new Memos -- one to suit any taste, right?
