Coinciding with the launch of the JLC Watchmaking week in KL, the Duometre has finally arrived. Apparently there was one Gyrotourbillon 2 available too and that was snapped up.

Glad to say this is probably one of, if not The First in the region. I can't really enjoy it too much for the time being as I'm leaving on a road trip after picking it up last night, but oh boy, will the weekend be sweet.

Pls. share with us some thoughts on how the watch feels after spending time with it.I had the pleasure to view it a few days ago in HK. IMO it does wear big and feels chunky on the wrist.Technically, it's a masterpiece and the view of the movement is second to none.The monopusher is also a breeze to use.However, my only concern is the legibilty of the dials for my poor eyesight. Reading the time requires a bit more effort on my part.Hopefully, this will not be an issue for others.

It is amazing!  Congratulations!  How can you tear yourself away from the foudroyante?  I was hypnotized the first time I saw it in acton.  Enjoy it.

...I was most surprised that it landed in my meaty little paws at all.

The watch is 42mm as mentioned, and even at 13mm thick it doesn't wear big. The angle of the shot has a lot to do with it looking big. I for one am not a fan of watches larger than 40mm but this is definitely something that takes me beyond 40mm but still manages to be comfortable. The flat caseback and the shape of the lugs make it emminently wearable even on my puny wrist.

I was going to be off on a business trip yesterday, but due to my knee deciding to give out, I'm now stuck at home with my Duometre and will be studying it quite intently today. Too bad the damn mobile phone keeps ringing!!!

And Jacky, it's important to act quickly and decisively, less the price keeps rising every quarter LOL

And we were all admiring this watch at the JLC event on Tuesday, only to now realise that one of our brothers had picked it up. Super! Wear and enjoy in good health.
