This Master Hometime appears to be a slight variation of the one that was introduced for the Viennese retailer Hübner in 2006 to commemorate their 70th anniversary with JLC. I searched in vain for that watch, and then 'settled' for the Grande Sun Moon

As for the bezel and lugs, I'd have to compare both to see if there are some iportant differences...

I tend to believe that  the bezel and lugs have nothing to see with the Hubner LE...

I have to see better pics to have a final statement on this.

Beautiful classic design, with top execution... reminds me of Patek  dual time, in a good way...  it's gorgeous. Another beauty from JLC!

Very elegant watch, the case is very subtle, not as brash as other recent Master Control cases. I like it.

Very good. The big pluses: Better balanced, thinner bezel. Just more elegant. And still the great auto caliber.

The various oddities and possible minuses: maybe it is a proto, but why are we still bothering with lume? (it is absent on the MUT/MGUT, no?). and if so, why lume at 3 and 9 but none at 12 and 6? odd. I think it would look better with a small dagger at 9 and 3 (or dagger at 9 and guichet only at 3) and no lume dots, as on the MGUT. all the other lume dots have been eliminated by shifting the daggers outwards.

and now not only is it Times Roman on the subdial, but it has spread like a virus to the date guichet! Well, that is like on the Reversos with big dates, so it is harmonization indeed. Blue paint, yes, too bad. And the finish could be better (but maybe not at this price point).

I wonder why they don't switch this over to minute track with dots (as per MGUT). Or does Patek sue at that point?

But overall a great job. I will be keen to see the standard silver dial RG and LE WG grey dial.

And if my memory is OK, you're the lucky guy who owns a special Master 8 days???

Then it would be a nice duo!

I think the Dual Time, in rose gold with black dial, is very tempting.

40mm for this Home time, 41,5 for the Master tourbillon, and 43 for the Grand tourbillon!

And not to speak of the price...LOL

The subdials and layout look very well graduated in depth, decoration and symmetry. A very attractive watch. The guilloche is a beautiful touch that sets the streamlined lay out in a complementary manner.

Very nice.

But myn pics don't give to this time piece the justice it deserves...
I'm just impatient to see in live the Boutique editions.

I wanted very much to like the old one (becuase of its excellent movement and functionality) but I just couldn't. This one should make the task easy.

So, we have a lot of partisans for the new model!
I have the secret hope that JLC will improve all the Master Cases to go this way...
It would be fantastic...

I wonder if, with the new 24 hour dial, if this is a 3 time zone watch.

Anyway, it is a very nice looking, balanced watch. 

But I will say that I also do like the Hometime as well.  I like the unbalanced dial actually, and also kind of enjoyed the little day/night indicator as it moved around as time passed.  I had one, but it was a bit thick for me and I now have a simple Master Control.

The 24 hour dial is a day night indicator, and it doesn't work as a 3rd TZ.

I know what you mean when you speak about the charm of the unbalanced dial of the previous version, but this new one gains in homogeneity, IMO.

And the most important is the thinner look of the bezel and the lugs...

It gives it a very nice and interesting look.
