Jaeger Lecoultre Tribute To Polaris 1968. A pleasure watch.

 By: amanico : August 5th, 2022-15:36
The vintage Polaris 1968 was with me in Spain, in the early days of July.

Time to give a short wrist time to the Tribute To Polaris 1968.

The Tribute has a great advantage over the vintage: You can swim with it without fear to ruin it.

THAT is important.

That is among the most beautiful JLCs

Out there. I remembered your reviews of the 1968 tribute, the platinum version, and the odd lume version of a piece too.

Yes, the first batches of the TT Polaris 1968 came with a pink / orange indices.

Similar situation with…

The new Memovox Mariners. It could have been done on purpose.

If only I could wind back time, 1 year back. I could have gotten my hands on the orange hand Memovox Mariner. Dang!!

They are still avaliable!

Super cool JLC. You should post some more of this my friend. I love to swim with my watches. Enjoy!

I was in the JLC Boutique today and I'm probably going to get a memovox as well as my next watch... Extremely useful complication.

You should. It is a great concept.

If i could turn back time

 By: Cookies : August 5th, 2022-17:33
I’d buy the Polaris Mariner (defect lume) in a heartbeat. Just the non-alarm version will be great.
I hope u see the green polaris too. The gradient looks amazing.

The Green Polaris is cool but it doesn't have an alarm.

 By: amanico : August 5th, 2022-17:34

Exactly, maybe they will make the Mariner Memovox in green as well

By: The Tent Is Cape Mint (Andrea) : August 5th, 2022-17:49
But I'd rather get the Master Control Memovox, as I'm looking for a dressier everyday watch instead of a tool watch at the moment

Aaah, if they decided to make it with an alarm, then it would give be a lot of trouble to find a favorite between this one and the Blue Mariner Memovox.

Imagine green juxtaposed with yellow

 By: Cookies : August 5th, 2022-17:57
Like blue juxtaposed with red.
A Polaris Memovox alarm with a green dial and some yellow accents will be nice a’la jlc navy seals incursion edition nice! Ooolala
Now, maybe u’d have sweet dreams of this tonight

Excellent suggestion!

 By: amanico : August 5th, 2022-18:22

Yes that is an unusual release

 By: Cookies : August 5th, 2022-17:50
I wondered why did didn’t release an alarm version because it is a cosmetic change only.
Love the gradient. My eyes adore this green, and also Ted Lo’s FF Mokarran green, the most, out of all the greenies out there recently.

Beautifully executed re-edition the Tribute to Polaris 68.

A pleasure watch!! You describe the Polaris with the exact words!

 By: Subexplorer : August 5th, 2022-17:59
No better way to describe it. And a great shot to share it.

How nice you could take several favorites watches with you to enjoy during your holidays and including this superb Tribute.

Here is mine (with the so called “wrong dial”) saying hello!

Abrazos amigo mio!
Otro reloj que descubrí hace algunos años gracias a ti cuando me lo mostraras en Paris!

Lucky you, amigo mio. Aprovecha. Un abrazo.

 By: Echi : August 6th, 2022-02:45
Love the ttp68! Year i was born too ;-)

Then you'd need to find a vintage one!

 By: amanico : August 6th, 2022-08:36

The TTP 1968 with salmon indices is a true killer !! And your picture kills me a second time ....
