Strangely, it's dependant on which market

 By: robsallnow : April 7th, 2021-11:54
you are buying it in, in the UK and Australia they're all the same....for now!

at least straight forward....if you think about it, there are brands switching price without changing anything bcos they've a huge demand ;-)

Hehehe... good one!

you didn't know: 1) green dye costs exactly $500 more than blue or red dye! 2) if people pay more for rolex, and green is rolex signature color, people will pay more for green JLC! All quite simple!

That $500 goes to Rolex for using Green 💚

Exactly. they have copyright6 'the success of using green' ...not just green.

Green is now almost boring but i must say the 5711 looks amazing in the flesh. Just completely new, almost turquoise. Lets see how the Reverso will look like.

Well, I think it will be very hard to give you a faithful idea of this green hue. Same problem than with the Blue and the Burgundy.

then i have to trust your review, which hopefully will come soon.

 By: Reuven Malter : April 7th, 2021-13:28
i thought the burgundy is too bold, the blue too modern in the context of the Reverso. The green might be just perfect.

I will do my best with this challenge.

Thank you! Nicolas, one more question please.

 By: Reuven Malter : April 7th, 2021-13:45
My initial reaction was quite negative but now i tend to think that its just the strap that is a litte to much for me. Do you think that this watch will look good with a black / brown strap - just like the London LE with the more dull green did look good with?

That is one of the question I had, too. I prefer to come back to you once I see the watch in the real. The issue with green dials is that there are no so many straps which work well.

You know why black t-shirts cost more than any other color. This is just commoditization of luxury markets.

Think that makes making a decision about which Reverso you want that bit harder

 By: jml_watches : April 7th, 2021-13:52
I can imagine struggling to make a decision if an AD has all 3 in at the same time!

Cheers

We've suddenly so many colourful choices across brands! Cartier looks enticing too...

Was itching fr a reverso as planning to get a square watch but after having a manual watch fr a year, I found myself simply to lazy to wind a watch every other day. They should make one with automatic movement. Looks like I will give reverso a pass.
