As if wearing a Mille on the wrist wasn’t dangerous enough …

In all honesty...

...I don't get it. But I'm not their target anyways, so I guess it doesn't matter. Weird.

You're not the only one...

Goes against all their sports associations

Love it!

Personally I love this RM. It would take a lottery win to afford one but yes!

Would love it on my desk. "The good ol days of RM" JK, kind of

 By: doubleup : February 22nd, 2022-20:20

Meh. Weren't they $25,000 before RM's marketing?

 By: enjoythemusic : February 22nd, 2022-20:24
But hey if Patek Philippe can charge what they do for their entry-level visible machine-marked movement models or just a typical dial color change, then RM pricing might make sense.

Am happy to see true modern enthusiasts knowing better. There are quite a few great options available for the smart, modern enthusiast smile

RM020 was never that cheap, it has tourbillon

 By: Centurionone : February 22nd, 2022-21:28

Fair Enough

 By: enjoythemusic : February 22nd, 2022-21:47
But what about the other basic models and their pricing? Your thoughts about pricing, hand finishing work, etc?

I have never been a fan of RM sadly

To me it looks and feels like a toy rather than a high end complication but each to their own

Not this piece if i remember correct they were extremely limited and $350k at least

 By: doubleup : February 23rd, 2022-19:59
You could once get a second hand 010 for close to that or an 005 back in the day, maybe not $25k but $30/$35k yes. Is not that crazy when you compare to FPJ now days. FPJ happened much quicker

10 and 5 are creeping into $200k today and is rising rapidly too.

Yep. Pretty crazy

 By: doubleup : February 25th, 2022-16:46

What’s not dangerous this days?🤷🏻‍♂️

 By: ZSHSZ : February 22nd, 2022-21:22
I would gladly wear this if money would be no object, and with that bull chain, it’s pretty hard to still it unless you carry a bolt cutter! 🥂

The chain is still attached to your clothing though

I think its cool! Thanks for sharing - but i much prefer your Alpine for daily wear :-)

Thanks! Hence it is still on my wrist 😉

Is this supposed to be like a pocket watch on a chain? It is admittedly very cute.

 By: ArmisE : February 22nd, 2022-21:54

Yes I believe so

Sometimes the best way to hide things is in plain sight...a wristwatch is much more recognizable and in a very predictable spot, so actually could this be *less* of a target?? I can of course be wrong, but just some food for thought... ;-) Cheers.

I agree. Unless the attacker is a member at a watch forum, he would take this as a fashion accessory.😊

😎👍👍

Maybe it’s the look of the clasp, but it seems like it would make a cool Christmas tree ornament.
