And what I can use...so from inexpensive to simply expensive.
Most of all, this post will have less words, but with pictures...explain how I live, from the eclectic office at home, to my clinic.
The Opus 3, Sevenfriday and even the Philip Stein, the new version...because I love the way it is playful, and the dial is beautiful to look at...
At the end of the day, this post shows a collectors collection, buying what he likes...so this is what people mean when you dont buy to impress.
I keep all here...messy

You can see the boxes etc etc

.
It will backfire.
Funny thing about "impressing", as I get my share of watching people from my seat as a doctor.
We are limiting this part of the discussion to impressing without knowing, ie by sight...an expensive watch will impress even the most hardened and cynical collectors like me.
Because it takes a lot of money to buy any of these RM with a tourby.
The kind of "buying a home" money. With no loans. Minimal short term returns, or none.
An Opus 3 or 5, even more...because I would know that this chap will have many more watches, as the retailer will almost always select an opus customer.
Any tourby would already be impressive....in my country, specifically, because even the non watch people in Singapore will already know the estimated cost of one...and they rarely, if ever, appear cheaply on the resale market.
