Horological Meandering

It was really great to see so many old friends and to make new ones.  The atmosphere was as always one of friendship, common interest and ejnoyment of our own and other's watches.

I would like to publicly thanks Yves, JuliaAnne, Georgia, Amed, Liam and the people at Hush for their time, their commitment to helping make this a special day and for their generosity.

Most of all I would like to thank all those that attended as without you the day could never be a success.

Pictures will follow (including the 50-60 watch table shot!).  I know one person for sure, but could the rest of you that attended please let me know if you would prefer not to have your pictures put into this thread.

JLC always put on a great welcome...please thank Julia-Anne and her fabulous staff for making us all feel like family.
Also thank Kronoswiss for the afternoon champagne too.

The restaurant and afternoon pub were also amazing and places I would never find...so when I'm next in London can I ask you for some recommendations for places to visit..?

Well done Simon and thanks to you and everyone who helped make it such fun day.

It was a great day and lots of great watch talk and new friendships. Thank you also for all the advice on vintage buying... i will be in touch ;-)

A BIG thanks Simon for all the effort in organising such a big group and everything went perfectly, so a big thank you! I say Simon for next president!

Looking forward to seeing the pics as I only took a quick one with my phone and compared with the pro's on here, it will be better to wait for the decent ones.

it was, as you say, very nice to meet new friends and catch up with the old crew. as Ubik commented, i think i'm the only person to ever attend a GTG in London and buy a watch  more of that later.
