this is all a bit coincidental as i too have a Mido Multifort and despite being from UK today i had superb Sushi with my daughter which included soft shell crap, salmon, scallops, prawns and flying fish caviar.
here's a pics of my 1964 Mido.

i must take it out of its vault and wear it more so i can take more pics as this is the only one i have of it. this full rotor auto has a freesprung balance which i think is a similar system to yours and difficult to regulate. it took my watchmaker about a week of his spare time to regulate it to within satisfactory levels.
i must admit that that put me off it a bit so its not been worn. time to change that.
thankyou for your great post of a great watch and my favourite food. it has given me incentive to sort my collection out and wear some of the pieces i havent worn in ages, especially the Mido multifort powerwind.
best
Graham
You had it repaired!!!! I hope it is running well now
Have you realized how much we love watches not only for their intrinsic beauty and values,
but also for the association we make of them with the good things in life?
Mostly family, friendship, having good times, enjoying our lives, great food, wines, etc...
I really like your watch, kind of reminds me a seamaster, a little sport classic watch.
By the way, the other day I was checking a post of yours about an island if I remember well,
great and tasty looking food was shown, GREAT POST, CONGRATS!!!
Great dinner (or breakfast?) you had with your daughter too!!!
Enjoy your watches and LIFE in the best health.
Anytime you like my friend
A respectful hug for you and your family.
René

I agree a lot with you and many things about your point of view.
I guess many of us have similar points of view, that's why we group in this great forum,
and in gatherings. reunions, get togethers, etc etc..
As I said before, that's one of the main reasons I love the purists!!! Brotherhood!!!
I also caught with this site as I was serchig info about my Planet Ocean 42mm black on black,
and latter on vintage subs and JLC.
Thank you my friend, for sharing all this.
Best.
René
P.S. I also wear two watches while at home and sometimes go out with them! Also It was Vlad expertise, knowledge and frienship one of the things that atracted me to this site (the dark side, the virus). Thank you Nico and thank you all!
P.S. 2 There is so much more joy and pleasure in sharing, that in selfishness.

I'm so glad you like it.
Yes, I have two more midos (right now I'm wearing the chronometer at the office), inherited in life by my dear father, his two first swiss watches
he bought when he started working.
One day as he saw I had got the watches bug, went to his bedroom, and gave me a truckload of watches he doesn't use anymore.
Many of them quartz and japan made, some swiss like this two.
I promise to write about them soon, just let me take some decent pictures.
With my best regards.
René
