Today is HoMe's 2-year anniversary!
HOrological MEandering's (aka "HoMe") first full day was on April 5, 2007 so today is HoMe's 2-year anniversary. HoMe was first originally named "General Watch Discussion" forum aka "GWD" but we wanted to give the forum a better name so wordsmith Jack Forster Mark S came up with "Horological Meandering".

A bit sad …
Hi Anthony,
HoMe has gone from strength to strength and seems a lot older than its 2 years. Well done to all who have been involved
However, I still miss a more technically and philosophically oriented Forum, like WatchRap. Posts about these topics on HoMe often move too far, too quickly, down the page to attract the sort of discussion that is required and fulfilling. There is no easy answer and the balance of content, speed and posters willing to put in the time and effort is difficult to achieve.
The key for me is to continue to differentiate PPro from other internet horological resources. We should always be looking for the niches to exploit that others are missing.
I hope to see PPro and HoMe continue to attract interest and interesting people.
