Zenith should work; I use a Seiko
Bit big for the wrist but I use it all the time (to keep track of things in the refrig or freezer), along with my watch and the oven's timer too.
It has to be big and easy to set -- those are my criteria

Good idea! Yet it is not a countdown timer....
... And my ears are not that good any more, so hearing a mechanical wristwatch alarm in a kitchen is difficult.

Take an Alarm watch. A Jaeger
Memovox or a Cricket or your Sonata so you have a timer that will go off when you need to take whatever you’re cooking out.
