Something you don't see every day
Popped into my local AD to spend some time with my watch associate this
week. Tried on a chronometre bleu, a few APs, a great Bulgari, but this
is the only watch I took a picture of. Doubtful to see another. I was
quite impressed. The hour jump and retrograde were SNAPPY and to the
second!
Love the monsieur watches
From what I understand romain gauthier had some input/involvement in these watches. Probably not much otherwise I feel like they would talk that up more but still awesome.
I believe he designed the movement
And his shop makes and decorates a number of the components. Chanel is a key investor for RG
I know Chanel is an investor and he supplies components but I don't know what exactly is confirmed in his involvement. Considering them pumping up their kenissi movements I would think they'd do the same for RG
Eye catching one, for sure. I think we discussed it, some moths ago. And if my memory serves me well, the biggest issue of this watch was the retail price.
i actually saw this on Saturday at Chanel in Paris and almost bought it!
the movement has the input of Romain Gauthier. But Chanel has made three reiterarions of this ceramic case which is a pity, this one with the Superleggera print. Lovely watch though and at 42mm it stll fitted m my small wrist well.
Lug-to-lug?
Wow those are some short lugs which is what you need on a watch this size. Any chance you know the lug-to-lug measurement? Looks like it may be under 48mm.
