Not affiliated to AP but an independent endeavour by watch enthusiasts. Found it fascinating and worth sharing. A quick video -

A little more perspective please?

Any relation to the audemars piguet code 11:59? The name, and case design, hint at a resemblance

somethings off with the app - wont post all the content and wont let me edit either - let me give it a few mins.

I recall hearing about them starting on the Kickstarter platform. Nice to see a company actually deliver a finished product coming from that background.

Anecdotally, I think they must be doing something right as I received a call from my father-in-law a few nights ago. Apparently he has seen an ad from them and has decided he wants one of their watches for his upcoming 65th birthday - I guess my offer of a vintage from his birth year didn't resonate quite as well as Code 41 haha

you proposed a birth year watch ?!

golden rule Colton, never remind your father-in-law of his age ;-)

Oh I quickly ate my words

I had an omega or longines in mind for him, but he clearly feels something more contemporary is best. I better stick to what they ask of me, giving more grandchildren haha.
Best, Colton

Well at least he is unaffected by the momentum. I saw 19-20yr Tom (Spider-Man) sporting a gold nautilus. Luking fwd to some 65th gift pics [nt]

Golden rule - always offer a gold watch to an old guy

It’s traditional! If not gold, Other metals are good too. Just not plastic unless it’s a collectible ... 🙂

Those numerals remind me strongly of the 5170 or 5370p - and the needle hands.. wonderful! Looks like a very nicely sized case as well, colour me intrigued.
As much as i agree with the tradition of a gold or otherwise sentimental piece, if he eschews a vintage or independent I can't argue. He teased me a bit over my purchasing a Daytona when my son was born earlier this year, so he is a tough customer to please.

Find it interesting (and refreshing) where they admit where the parts are sourced from: movement - Swiss case, deployant and packaging - China strap - Italy [nt]

figure a lot of Kickstarter watches make their cases in China like this one, although this looks very well CNC machined; although would have still preferred Swiss or German made case [nt]
