Horological Meandering

I read on some articles recently about being less 'hooked' on to mobile telephones and recommendations to use alarm clocks to wake up in the morning. That of course gives one an immediate excuse to indulge in fantasies for alternatives to telephones as alarm clocks  So my dear friends, what options are there in terms of wrist, pocket and table clocks with alarms!  A dream would be one of the Paul Gerber retrofited Oris's, but I am told they are just for Paul's amusement. 

As for alarm alternatives, i have 3 options in my life which never fail to wake me:
1) noisy neighbour - I am up when he is up
2) noisy 3 years old - I am up when he is up
3) elbow in the ribs from the wife - not always "accidental"

* we can always go back to having a rooster to crow morning.
Or maybe pay a "time lady" to wake us.

What a way to wake up! Sounds great, both the alarm and the tick-tock of the clocks. Do you lock up all the table clocks in a room

They make a real symphony of sound. One ticking is annoying; four is lovely!

I totally want one of those ORIS babies!!!
