At the Singapore Turtle and Tortoise museum today 
Seeing these turtles and tortoise and their slow pace of life is very relaxing.
Starting a nice weekend with the kids exploring and learning about rare species of turtles and tortoises.
And of course, my PuristSPro ABR is a good companion for such activities! A very robust watch with a nice silicon strap for the humid weather here in Singapore.

Good for the kids
I've brought my kids there as well and it's a nice place to chill and spend half a day. The diversity of turtles / tortoises there is quite amazing.
And the expression on the face of the snake head turtle is just priceless!

Its been 40 years
My first and last visit to the Chinese Gardens in Singapore was 40 years ago. It was a school trip to a 'foreign land'. We travelled by bus and slept on school tables in empty classrooms of a Singapore school. Which school? I can't remember but as we were from a Methodists' Boys' School, most likely it was a Methodists' or Anglo-Chinese school in Singapore.
I never visited since; despite living in Singapore for 10 out of the last 15 years.
I did not know they had a turtle and tortoise 'zoo' although come to think of it, all pagodas have water pools and turtles/tortoises dotted about for effect.
Now, you reminded me to search out my PPro ABR watch.

Eastern Long Neck Turtle
I had one as a pet when I was a kid. Named Hamburger. It used to regularly escape and be found in neighbour's gardens, so I painted my phone number on its shell.
I finally had the opportunity to handle this watch last night.
I met up with Damjan in Zagreb, and he was wearing his. The DLC is of very high quality, and the watch has a very nice heft. I like it very much.
By the way, what a great night it was. Nothing better than meeting fellow Purist, talking about watches and others things.

Why do I especially like this PuristSPro ABR watch? Because it is limited to 178 pieces. I love the concept of 178, translated as "prosper (succeed) together!"
