It has only been one week since it left me for service.

But I already miss it much. This never occurred to me before.

Uh oh! Many more weeks to go!

 By: patrick_y : May 5th, 2022-21:53

AD told me it will be 4-6 weeks.

I hope he is right 😩

I can understand, but what happened?

 By: amanico : May 5th, 2022-21:57

Watch gains 2mins per day.

 By: pptraveltime : May 5th, 2022-22:08
AD says it was probably magnetized.

That can be solved in 2 minutes.

 By: amanico : May 5th, 2022-22:09

🫣I will ask again after LF checks it out

 By: pptraveltime : May 5th, 2022-22:14

Yes, there is a good demagnetizer from Bergeon...

 By: amanico : May 5th, 2022-22:16

Aren't most watches anti-magnetic by now ?

 By: Gregineugene : May 5th, 2022-23:35
Its the hair spring that would get magnetized...right ?
Or are there other complications with magnetization that I'm missing? Or something else...?

Magnetism still happens

 By: enjoythemusic : May 6th, 2022-01:11
Yes a silicon hairspring helps reduce the possibility. This is where METAS certification has benefits.

Oh no, most of the watches suffer from our magnetic environment. Go think about that: Your Lab Top is more than 1, 000 Gauss. Your Cell phone too! Even a hair dryer is 400 gauss!

Thank you for mentioning the brand. Make things much easier

 By: pptraveltime : May 6th, 2022-18:19

It's so beautiful, I wouldn't care.

 By: kjkt3 : May 6th, 2022-10:06

Agreed.

 By: amanico : May 6th, 2022-15:01

Beautiful wrist shot! Hang in there while its in service.

 By: M4 : May 6th, 2022-09:34

Appreciate it bro

 By: pptraveltime : May 6th, 2022-11:45

I can understand why you miss it. So beautiful !! Sorry to hear about loss of time - but good if it can be fixed quckly as our wise members point out. Good luck! Lars

Honestly I didn’t expect I like this watch so much if it wasn’t for this absence

 By: pptraveltime : May 6th, 2022-11:45

We cherrish the things we don’t have.

 By: psfparis : May 6th, 2022-13:43
still waiting for mine...

Also Laurent Ferrier?

 By: pptraveltime : May 6th, 2022-18:17

Hope you get it back soon! If it was indeed magnetized i would suggest you get a demagnetizer for future use...i have one and i must use it at least once every two months or so even if i am careful with my watches not being close to my phone, laptop, etc

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : May 6th, 2022-17:08

Thank you. I will look into it.

 By: pptraveltime : May 6th, 2022-18:18

I got mine at Amazon and it works well

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : May 6th, 2022-19:26

yes the classic

 By: psfparis : May 9th, 2022-14:23
7/9 months due to slow/small production

All of my watches

 By: Weems@8 : May 14th, 2022-07:33
never been magnetized.
I take some careful actions when i do not lay a watch on my magnet iPhone cover.
Only my quartz equipped Longines Conquest can rest on my iPhone cover and my Omega Seamaster that resist 15000 Gauss.

By the way, i fully understand a LF can not be missed when be in service.

This is the first time I encountered this.

Never need to worry about the magnetization with my Rolex 😂

It is perfect and you made a great shot

since the Laurent Ferrier watches are not ready to photograph.
