Just some Overseas pictures

Just few pictures and it shows how the blue chanted with different light angles

Strange to see those fine scratches look bad on photo but in normal live you don’t notice them

They are simply the result f wearing it quit often

Thanks for posting, Jurry. I wanted to buy the 4500v for a long time. The outer ring looks so wet, what i have never seen on any other watch.

A dream!

Thanks

The outer ring is mysterious because it’s made up of many small square facets that each reflect incoming light in a slightly different angle thus hue.

Sometimes if you hold in a certain angle, the dial seems dark yet one quarter of these facets in the outer ring looks light bright blue. Fascinating to look at (especially if you’re in a boring meeting haha)

Interesting, i really thought it was a continuum. Thank you for explaining! [nt]

Cameras become very good

How many pixels does have your camera?

Cameras are so good, they pick up everything.

True

This photo was shot with a Nikon D7500, it’s a kind of bridge between amateur and pro but more for the aspiring amateur haha. At least that’s what the sales people told us.

It was shot with a Nikon prime 40 mm macro lens f8 shutter 1/80th and I’m slowly figuring out how to work that one.

While back Casy suggested to use more natural light so for this picture I just laid it on next to the window with some late afternoon sunlight coming in under an angle and by the looks of these photos (no post production) he was absolutely right.

O yeah the camera has I belief 21K pixels but from what I’ve understood the number of pixels should be viewed in relation to the sensor size; full size or cropped
Pixel density is a better criteria (or so I understood)

Thanks for asking thanks for viewing

the downside of too good

Every detail spotted.

And for heavily decorated movements like complicated skeletons your Nikon is great to use.

I do have a Canon 5D.
But i looked to Hasselblad (first camera on the moon), and Leica🔴.

Watches:
About the Vacheron Historique Americana 1921.
You have the platina. But do Vacheron have a steel model?
I ask Vacheron today, if they use silicium springs in their watches. 🐦

Always a pleasure to see the OS chrono.

And I see you love leather as much as I do on the OS. The bracelet is great but there is so much more to explore...

Best,
Daniel

I wear all: metal rubber and leather. Even got few extra leather straps in different colors

I was thinking about ordering some custom leather straps as well.

In fact wanted to hit the boutique last Friday but ran out of time.
Which color is your favorite with the blue dial?
I was thinking light blue, beige or grey but there may be bolder choices that work well.

Brown

I got the grey but actually in real live that’s not the best fit.

I also got a dark brown strap. Against popular belief it would be a bad match, it’s actyally a great match. Makes the entire watch look different.

Unfortunately no pictures with that strap and don’t have it with me either. Next week I’ll post some

Super 👍🏻
