Thank you. I credit your work on this forum, especially in the earlier years, as a large cultivator for my passion for Ulysse Nardin. I can clearly recall many of your posts - about the 160, the Sonata, the perpetuals, and of course, a variety of Freaks. When the Cruiser launched a few years ago, you had the best live photos on the net. I know, because I scoured to find every one I could. And yours are still on the hard drive. The ship came in, finally.
LOL! Great pick up, Michael! It's been on my hit list for many years too (maybe not quite 17 years, so my wait continues) and so I most definitely understand your attraction to this outstanding piece.
And I also think of The Freak first and foremost. Really, it is the only reason I resisted a Sonata. I can only afford 1 high end UN in the collection, and The Freak is the one I prefer. Perhaps one day I can add a Sonata, which will remain high on my list.
Didn’t quite like the website pics but totally a different story with your shots! Very nice! What a 44th! Gotta love UN. It’s a manufacture that fearlessly goes down the path less travelled. Congrats again. I like really happy posts like this one
It pains me to say the website is just terrible. Difficult to navigate and doesn’t show many models. The old site from years ago was much better. It had a reference section with many older models which was helpful. They lost their way considerably in my opinion 4 or 5 years ago when they changed the format. I go there also for the same reason but otherwise find it really poor. Dave
I agree, Dave. I understand it is undergoing updates right now.

I actually "Freaked Out" over it after I found this watch. A few days later, it disappeared from the site. In fact, I don't think it is back up yet. I was worried that maybe it was not coming out after all, but luckily, it was just web related.
