One of the earliest Intependents

Monsieur Roger Dubuis regulated his early pieces himself. To me this is extremely appealing, even more so than the actual chronometer certificate from the Besancon observatory where he is recorded as the "regleur".

I totally agree, and this one is such a beauty, and an original one. I love these early Roger Dubuis, a lot.

First, congrats in acquiring this truly amazing timepiece! I recall seeing it online when first announced, then one was at the Bellagio in Vegas and for some STUPID reason I did not procure it.

(Deeeeeep Sigh) It's 'the one that got away'.

Am glad someone who truly appreciates this awe-inspiring timepiece has it. 👍

Amazingly beautiful and great background…

The fact that this was designed and created in 2001

Is the most amazing thing about it to me - this design is so timeless, it could have been created hundreds of years ago, and I am sure will be highly attractive to the eye hundreds of years henceforth.  BTW super nice photo!
