Being that purple is my absolute favorite color I could not resist this Defy 21 Ultraviolet. Great movement with 1/100th of a second timing. The Chrono hand makes a complete revolution every second. Mesmerizing.

Interesting that your favorite color is violet.
Mine is dark green, or better said Rolex green.
The black and white UN Freak from Michael is also a peace that i like to see, or an AP RO off shore black and white.
Knowing Zenith have a Defy21 in black and white, it is my favorite.

Big congrats Ed! This a nice iteration of the defy 21. The legibility of these hands are also very good. I too, find the purple color one of its nicest iteration

I’m seriously considering adding a zenith defy 21 chrono to the stable, and have the fully-skeletonized version on loan from another watch collector friend. This purple one is even better because of the improved legibility and the ability to read and set the seconds on the timekeeping functionality. The skeleton version doesn’t have a marked seconds chapter ring for the seconds

I have never considered this color but it looks damn good here as done by Zenith! I have a feeling it will get a lot of your wrist time, which is saying a lot given your others. Enjoy it.
