Its a natural fit to your wrist, I think...
and you aptly enhanced the steampunk character of this bronze Pilot with a wonderful choice of straps,. I particularly like the latter - do you have more images to share?

Bronze Buckle on the way.
I will take more photos once my bronze buckle arrives. I also have another custom made strap coming which is being made from a WWII ammo pouch, along with an airplane engraved bronze buckle.
