In general, that would depend on these factors:
*Whether one intends to dive beyond a few meters with it.
*Whether one is routinely in robbery risk locations and situations.
*Whether one would prefer more heft.
*Whether one would prefer more flash.
*Whether one hopes to favorably impress the sort of person impressed by yellow gold Subs (a group that includes not only a certain kind of woman, but also, according to an attorney friend, a certain range of clients).
Personally, I'd trade it for a steel Nautilus or a white gold Sub.

One thing I can observe on gold rolexes is their second hand value is far below their ss counterpart. If you want to hold some value, brand new gold rolex and gold/steel rolex are not as good as stainless steel. Although the brilliant blue dial is attractive but they are not popular at all in Asia for some reason. So, my take is to stay with PP.
