The new model 5216 has a diffeernt size and a very different design.
Just reading the 5216 press release, the 5016 is presented as the predecessor of the 5216 but nowhere it is said that the 5216 replaces the 5016!
Maybe to let time to those who may regret the 5016 to order it?

PS: the 5339 was presented last year and the 3939 is discontinued this year apparently! Same for the 5951 and 5004!
