Oh yes, 5140 still exhibits those legendary curves as my 3940, ooooooh....no matter how you turned it, still curvy....yummy!

A welcome larger date font for an old man like me..
and of course, the mandatory wrist shot, sits perfectly on it!

The 5140 is one of these very few and extraordinary examples with the increased watch even better (to some extent and for me) than the already (near) perfect former smaller piece!
I unfortunately don't have the experience myself but I suppose indeed that the 5140 is slightly easier to read than the 3940!

You have really captured the true beauty of the watch in your photos.
Perhaps we could do a joint watch review in a couple of months time.
Since I have had mine, it has only been off my wrist about 7-8 hours, I just love looking at it.
And I know that you will as well.
I recently stumpled upon a blog article about a similar
story comparing 3940 and the 5140 and was very 'shocked' to see it used my photos (posted in this thread) without seeking my prior permission.
The author has since rectified it.
Out of curiosity, I searched the internet and found some of my pictures of my speedy and moser also ended in the similar fate. All of them I posted here in watchprosite.com m
sometimes I wonder perhaps my photography skill isn't too crappy, so they attracted quite a few admirers? or is the purist portal so popular it has becomes a reference site
so if you like my photos of my watches, you're free to use them so long you drop me an email first.
I'd be more than happy to grant you the permission to use them appropriately.
Really, it's no hassle and I won't bite, and I'm not a professional photographer so I haven't thought about asking a tidy sum from you.
meanwhile still on the lovely Patek Perpetual topic, here's a picture of my 3940G.
Now can you spot the difference between it and the 5140G?

It happens to me quite often. Sometimes from "professional" Bloggers, sometimes from boutique managers, sometimes the brands marketing department ... .
If you ask them about they don´t even feel guilty. Never asked for money, but this "free lunch" mentality is annoying.

honest. Whatever happens to the basic courtesy?
I'm pretty amazed my pix was used in a pretty elaborate article, totally 'professional' sounding, I have the feeling they probably make some money out of writing those stuff.
anyway, now that I know the trick of scanning for my images via google, I'd probably scan for them from time to time.

Thanks Mark, the white metal Patek is always
very accommodating when worn on the daily basis. Sometime I feel my YG will tend to catch more attention or feel I might be a little 'overdressed' for many occasions. But the white metal is always 'low profile' working like a 'everyday beater'. Wearing such a complication that way is always welcoming
