What was the first thing that changed my opinion about the Nautilus?

The DIAL!

At the beginning, i didn't love at all the Nautilus, till a friend of mine came to see me with a 3712 on his wrist.

He showed me this watch, and I fell in love!

The dial of this Nautilus is something really amazing...

Sporty, but also very elegant and sophisitcated, the nuances are very hard to capture in a pic, and are to be appreciated in real...

I wans't totally happy with my pics, so I decided to take some new ones, to try to give some justice to this watch, and to this detail that made me love this watch...

The large horizontal lines contrast with the other parts of the dial, more sublte, and the grey blue color is a pure pleasure to admire under different lights and angles, which enhances the beauty, the particularity of this dial...

A play of light, and consistance...

Really amazing!

In Paris, the light is too often too poor, so the pics are a bit so so...

Knowing that I'd have the opportunity to have some decent light, I didn't want to miss this opportunity to give justice to this adorable PP...

for the tips, I " force" to shot with a tele lens as I have not got the macro lens yet

you should have taken some movement shots as they would have come out sublime.

i like th steel and how the bracelet mends with dial texture.. but i am a sucker for the rose version because of the croco and the deployant :-D

I also have pics of the movement, I will search them in my HD, but as this is the same than the 5110 or 5130, or Celestial, etc...I didn't think to post it or them, as I already did it before for the 5110 and 5130.

As for the croc strap, I'm not a big fan for only one reason, the remaining link on the top...It takes some beauty and purity to the case and the strap, too...

Just my opinion, of course!
