Does anyone have any info
about the special Aquanaut green dial? Can't seem to find much info about this watch, except that the reference is 5167A-010 and was produced in
2011. Any idea how many was made and for what occasion?
You should take into account that the straps for the 5167 and 5164 are not exactly the same

Thickness is different between the lugs, so the 5167's strap don't cover totally the case of the 5164 (as the case is taller). You can use it (I've seen it and its not a big deal), but the fit is not perfect.
Have bought several but always the original black one for both, 5167 and 5164. I believe that the new orange strap doesn't fit the 5164 because the case of the new chrono is taller.
I totally agree with Count de Monet´s opinion. Also for me the standard dials of PP are looking much better. This version is rare but not so attractive in my eyes.

As watch collectors very often put too much attention on rarity rather than beauty I wonder how many collectors would be interested in the green dial/strap combo if it would be available without any problem. My bet is that it wouldn´t get a lot of attention at all.
why the green strap was discontinued. No need to stock just for 12 watches, even though, owners were putting the green straps on the black dial watches.
PP service told me just today the green strap can be ordered (a few weeks lead-time) but that you must present the SE watch to them before they will place the order.
