I went against convention as I simply fell in love with this watch. So under appreciated in my opinion. Love the platinum case and shape, dial layout, hands and numerals. So understated. So classic. So Patek Philippe.
Not that there is any other way to do it! There are many I like and would love to own, but my purchases are almost always irrational and at the wrong time. They're acts of love not reason! It's funny because whenever I have carefully considered a watch and had the funds ready and everything in order, the love has not lasted. But when I get the opportunity to get one at the wrong time when I'm broke and I have to go crawling to the bank or passing the credit card with trembling hand... that's when I've picked the right one! haha!
As soon as I saw it in the metal, held it and felt that unmistakeable weight of platinum, I knew...love the shape, so vintage yet still contemporary. [nt]
