I had it for a couple of days testing to give it a green light.
This is the 'slowest' of the Panigale line, V2 950 cc with 150 hp.
No need to tell you it is ridiculous how fast this is, the first day I had trouble figuring out how to properly handle it. It had been a year since I was on a bike. The second day I started to get the drive back but realized I would have to bring it back because on the third day my guardian angel could let me down ;-) ... especially after that 260+ emergency braking to avoid a car.
These things are simply too fast and honestly I am too old (not so young) and realize my skills aren't what they used to be.
Not sure if I'll ever buy a bike again.

Open top driving is the closest substitute to the thrills of riding, much safer and less demanding on passengers.

Best choice for the same feel, range, and adrenaline.

I'm getting old ! LOL Traffic here doesn't allow much fun anymore ... but luckily I can have some fun near our little holiday home in the forests ...










There's even a racetrack on public roads





I can go for a healthy walk ...





But I much prefer the local patisserie and French bakeries ...







Hell yeah ! They even have the best Friterie in Belgium here !




Lots of breweries as well , actually the whole country is flooded with beer breweries.





But I never drink and drive ... almost ;-)

That's my recommendation!  Maybe some fast driving on the track before cake to blow off some steam!  

I bought a V-Strom and I don't think I'd go back to sports bikes. You can still cane it and embarrass most other bikers, but was like riding a big comfy armchair. I've been off bikes for a few years, but I'd definitely get another one.

… on my son in law’s V-Strom and actually liked it. I am not used to non-Italian-purebred two wheeled stallions but i still found a lot of joy cruisin’ around.

 

I realize more and more I have to be careful ...at age 54 I still feel young but I have so much driving experience now that every little mistake I make, makes me think more and more about what could have gone wrong
