Got lucky to handle the prototype

To be honest I found it very delicate but boy it’s a horological marvel !

Got the delivery of my skeleton ceramic Octo finnisimo and sized

Paid for the pair of new limited Sketches edition to commemorate 10 years of the Octo finnisimo range . Now looking forward to receive the shipment soon…

The hospitality was fantastic and Mr Rodolphe & his team ( David & Nooria) were great in customer service …

Watch travel roll and some presents for the Mrs were thoughtful and appreciated.

What does the qr code do?

The NFT has a unique video and details pertaining this watch and as per Bvlgari when you scan it , it will take you a link and show watch details and it’s making . Each watch having its own and unique one

Hmm..well I hope this watch brings you a lot of pleasure

I am not particularly interested in crypto or NFT. So they are not a plus for me.

This is a sick piece the one you got!!! On the other hand the new thin one is not practical

 By: Motty : May 19th, 2022-00:10

Just curious, why do you think it’s not practical ?

 By: doubleup : May 19th, 2022-05:07
It’s quite a feat of engineering I think. Have you seen the Piaget that broke record for thinnest ‘mechanical watch? There is a really cool video on YouTube talking about all the trouble and research that was needed. Sounds like it was a ton more work than they anticipated, but amazing how they utilized the combination of the movement and back case. So i guess it is about as practical as a quad tourbillon from G.F. But still cool

It looks really cool and a piece to keep in the safe and show off!

That’s it, from there it looks very fragile and not very comfortable.

When they made the octo finisimo they said that they could of gone thinner but it wouldn’t be so comfortable.

But yes it is really really cool

That makes since. I can't help to think what it would feel like on the wrist.

 By: doubleup : May 19th, 2022-22:19

It is fragile and I was not even comfortable holding it let alone strapping it on

Thanks Motty!

Impressive how thin it is.

And to think the ceramic is already very thin! Congratulations on your new pickup 👍

Such a cool watch

Ok, I'd like to see alternatives to the QR Code. It doesn't look out of place, but QR codes might be a bit of nostalgia in ten years, like Micro USB cables today.

So much for “consolidation”😜

It was ordered 3 months ago as it was not avbl in the U.K.
