Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I will be receiving my first Lange watch tomorrow. I have been waiting for years to buy one and am very excited, despite the hole in my bank account the purchase has left.

I would love to hear the views of all of you who own this watch. Mine will be platinum, my first platinum and my first Lange!

I have been an IWC collector for many years and am looking forward to drawing comparisons and contrasts of one brand to another.

Can anyone compare the moon detail on the Lange 1 vs. the IWC Portofino ref. 5251, which I also own?

The Lange 1 Moonphase in platinum is one of my favorite Lange.

Just a special tidbit, the Lange 1 Moonphase's moon-phase disc will be accurate (within one day) for 122 years and (approximately) 45 days.

Enjoy your new Lange, I am sure this will start a fruitful long-term relationship!
