Before reviewing it...

I dearly miss it..

I can understand that. Surprisingly, it always lived under the shadow of the Datograph, for me. But since I lost the Datograph, I thought about getting this one, instead. [nt]

I would be very keen to hear your thoughts

I have a first generation datograph and have always been thinking about the double split. Flying under the radar between the datograph and now the triple split. My main issue is wearability at 43mm, but I have never tried it on. Let us know what you think!!

The proportions of the Datograph are better for me, as well as the iconic character of the Datogoraph. Moreover, the weight pleads in favor of the Datograph. [nt]

Stunning Nico - I can understand why you would want this one - I love the contrast and shade of the sub dials - Beautifully captured ;) [nt]

Such an amazing watch but unfortunately for my small wrist, the Double Split wears HUGE...

 By: holdemchamp1225 : February 5th, 2020-04:34
it still deserves tremendous praise for what it is and represents in the watch world. If it were not for the Triple Split, this Double Split would still be the "king of the hill"

True, the Triple Split is the new king, but the Double Split is already something. [nt]

A beautiful watch indeed....

 By: NickO : February 5th, 2020-19:45
... but it’s a shame they had to cover the escapement up. To me, the balance wheel is like the “heartbeat” of a watch. I love the kinetic motion of seeing it go back-and-forth. So the movement on the double-split is just a little static for me. For that reason alone, I prefer the classic datograph.

NickO

Right you are, but you have two column wheels and these double pliers... [nt]
