Nice view of the tourbillon and the fusee chain. 39mm?
Thanks for the great pics SJX.
Diameter is 41mm and height is approximately 16mm due to the domed crystal. It is a large watch.

Wow! Looks like this is the 1st tourbillon on my wish list now.
Thanks for the great pics SJX!
Cheers,

Patrick,
You may be right on the observations about the French and Germans but the Swiss are as rough as brick xxxhouses.......
So, very in keeping with La Tradition, then.

It looks like im going to have to sell my other Breguets to finance this one.....................This is Stunning, but i cannot afford it....shame.................I love it.........
Hi JX,
Thanks for the photos. Quite a looker by Breguet. Looks raw and old, indeed Traditione style...

. Nice pictures, but I prefer LumiereIt's really nice to see that the production version of the Tradition Tourbillon is finally out. The first thing I noticed is that somehow the watch appeared to be less thick to me than the prototypes; the doomed crystal seems to be more refined and rounded. This is probably just a visual illusion but at least from the photos it's obvious that the overall level of finish is what you would expect from Breguet.
I'm a bit surprised by how small the balance spring is relatively to the large cage; one of the things I really adore about my Tradition is that you can see the Breguet sprial "breathe" (for the lack of better words) when the watch is running. At some angles it appears as if this watch doesn't even have a balance spring at all (like the third photo from the top), and I think it will be nice if one can see the balance spring in action when the cage is rotating. I can be wrong but I'm assuming that the balance is made out of titanium (judging from its color) and perhaps the entire cage as well hence only the sides are polished? The linear escapement arrangement looks pretty interesting though; something new?
Overall I think this is another masterpiece coming from Breguet since the launch of the Tradition series. The real highlight of this watch to me is the fusse and chain mechanism that's visible on the dial, even more so than the Tourbillon. Due to its thickness and high price this is probably not the most sensible daily choice, but it's certainly one of the most original Tourbillons in years IMHO. Thanks again for sharing the photos and I really look forward to seeing it in person soon.
Cheers,
Roger
Great to see you back here.

over-sized balance wheel and the chain fusee. I am not sure about the overall design, but it does have a proportion about it that makes it beautiful. Great watch. Thanks for the photos.

Hi JX
Thanks again for the amazing shots. Do you know what's it's retailing for?

is the winding system bridge. The same feeling, unfortunately for the same bridge in La Tradition watch which I appreciate as one of the best modern wristwatches. My vision is here - that is virtual modification.
The style of Breguet's movements of 'Montre de souscription' asks for pure geometric shape of bridges, and my taste give me the answer.
Here it is. Waiting for comments.
