New (to me) Breguet Tradition Tourbillon 7047 with Fusee & Chain (7047BR/G9/9ZU)
I purchased what I believe to be new old stock of a 2013 Tradition Tourbillon 7047 with Fusee & Chain. I asked in a separate post about whether I would be able to register it with Breguet as the original owner, and the consensus was that I could. I'm trying that now. I'm quite optimistic since I was able to register another pre-owned Breguet watch of mine (a 5717 Classique Hora Mundi in rose gold with Asia map) that I assumed had been long registered to someone else. Anyway, lots of people in that thread were asking for pics of the 7047 so I'm happy to oblige!

Most of the rest of these photos were ones the dealer sent me before I picked up the watch. I asked them to set the time to 8:40 (a time I picked at random) to make sure they really had the watch in hand, and weren't using photos they just found on the internet. I also uploaded all of the photos to ChatGPT and asked it to see if it could detect any artifacts of Photoshop or other doctoring of the images, and it determined the photos looked legit. I also showed ChatGPT photos of a similarly priced watch I found on Chrono24 and asked it to compare, and it said that this one was in better condition. If anyone is interested in buying pre-owned watches, I highly recommend doing this.

How do you like it? I like the watch, but unfortunately, it's too big on my wrist.
It's lighter and smaller than the Freak Cruiser I'm currently double-wristing it with :)
The diameter is quite reasonable, but it does have a bit of height/depth to it. I happen to also be wearing my Freak Cruiser (which I only got a few weeks ago as well), and the 7047 is much lighter. I didn't think I had particularly large wrists, but I guess I do since large watches don't seem to seem out of place on my wrist. I think my wrists are wide and flat even though the circumference is I think pretty average.

I flew to Hong Kong for this one
I never bought a watch from Hong Kong, so I was nervous it would turn out to be fake or something. Also I was worried that the tariffs and sales tax would add significantly to the price, so I just decided to fly to HK, verify the watch was what it said it was, and then have a couple days to check out all the other watch stores in the area!
As I mentioned in another comment, Watchfinder US has one in very good condition, and I know they're flexible on price.

There are several on Chrono24 as well as Watchfinder
The cheapest ones on Chrono24 are the yellow gold version, which is not my style, but there are a few of the gray + rose gold ones (like mine) on the lower end of the price spectrum - and they all look like they're in decent condition, many with full box and papers. If you're uncomfortable buying from Hong Kong, Watchfinder US has one in great condition. Their price is high, but I know from having talked with them that they can come pretty close to the lowest prices advertised on Chrono24.

It’s really difficult buying from overseas (I’m in the USA). The last time I bought from overseas, my state sent me a sales tax invoice charging me the sales tax, plus a penalty charge and an interest charge. Apparently US Customs sent them the information. I received the invoice from them 2 years after I bought the watch. That’s the last time I buy from overseas. The one I was interested in was on EWC. I would really like the platinum version. OMG is that gorgeous in my eyes. Thank you again!

Total cost was under $4k I think
I flew economy, which cost about $1k and then spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons ($500/night), but they were running a 3rd night is free campaign so I only paid for 2 nights. Add in incidentals and the total cost was under $4k. Tarrifs + sales tax would have been about $13k, plus I got to explore HK for a bit!
