2 reasons. I really like sweep seconds vs sub second and it has a chronometer rating which in my book puts it on the top. Very accurate and robust movement. John

Hi, to expand on Roni's post, both the 565 and 2508 are screwback and thus water resistant. There was the 12-120SC movement used in the 30's and 40's that was also center sweep second. The 27SC being the most popular, it also had the double geneva...
