Yep I've seen it on windows as well..

Having said that, I think it's one of those pieces that will climb up after the usual long dip. And my reasoning is purely subjective. It's quite a photogenic watch but in person, if you're not used to a 38mm piece, it will seem small. I almost had doubts at the point where the order came in and I was there seeing it for the first time.
But then this watch is the very definition of a sleeper. Once I got over the size issue and heck, even the indices, i find myself reaching out for it when I need to visit a client when I'd usually go for a Rolex or a JLC for example. So I think it's going to be the same over time for most folks who get lured by the RM. From sleeper to keeper it becomes.
It'll disappear from shops after awhile like your Alaska Project. The RM may not shoot up in value but i think it has a good chance of keeping it. But we're talking longer horizons here. Not good for those who flip. I can sometimes kick myself for overlooking the Alaska Project back in the day.. especially the white dial Speedy with the July 20, 1969 red print on the dial. I was offered it years ago when it went out (they even gave me a blue commemorative shirt) but passed thinking that it would have been better if they didn't have the red print on it a la mitsukoshi dial. Oh well
But yeah, 1,957 would have been preferred

But not guaranteed...so I was lucky my sales fought a nice number. Today, it’s not possible anymore unless you’re the very top client, like I heard the #1 always goes to a Mega NY client 😊 Thanks Seeks
Mine in 3303

My Railmaster is numbered 3303/3557. It’s really the best re-edition of these editions. A real sleeper watch IMHO. I, for one, will not be surprised if it’s turned out to be the most sought after watch among the trinity after a decade.
Congrats to you too...

Personally I belief this to be one of the most desirable omega watches. Somehow it “speaks” to me (and many others)
I like the bracelet, myself.

I have a brown leather strap that also looks good. But the bracelet on this one... ...
Nice shot

I tried one on a few months ago but never got around to pulling the trigger. I don’t know why...maybe I need to give it a second chance
