Black since I owned one.
The blue plus points were the luminous bezel and the lollipop chrono hand which I both love. And which are both missing in the black panda. But the pulsometer and the red chrono more than make up for it. The black panda dials pops out for me more when it is seen in person.

Blue ore owned or this one new. I liked them both equally and just picked one held behind someone’s back! The luminous scale is pretty sweet thohhh!
I will be happy with either one, got the blue in 2016, still like it.

Blue. You will love it longer. The Black is exciting but there will be times when you get bored with it.

Others tell me to take it off and put it on nato. I’m not much of a nato guy though! Something about putting an expensive watch on a $1 dollar strap is not my thing
Same here, not a NATO fan.
In fact, the next week after buying this piece, I went back to the OB and order another similar black racing strap for this timepiece. Tells you how much I love the combo of this watch.

I used on my planet ocean. It’s nice quality but not $150 nice!

I have both and just put the blue on bracelet this weekend. The back is as yet unworn 5 weeks after purchase which I guess tells a story. If I could I would trade the pulsometer for the panda Tokyo 2020..

I think the black sub dials pop way more than than the blue. It’s really tough when both are there. This is a good thing though that means Omega did a great job with these!
A matter of personal taste, really . . .
. . . as neither corresponds to an actual vintage model. Historicity isn't an issue here. If I had to choose it would be the '16 over the '18, mostly on account of the lollipop chrono seconds. I like lollipops. It's as simple as that. ;-)
