Went to an AD’s watch fair at a fancy hotel……and James Bond came home with me

Sep 11, 2022,16:18 PM

I, more than being a fan of James Bond am a fan of the Omega Seamaster and this 007 model in particular. (My other Seamaster is the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which I bought at last year’s fair.)

I kept vacillating over this one since last year. I looked at it on and off, went to see “No Time to Die”, and read up on the story behind the design of this 007 version, which includes symbolism and Daniel Craig’s input. Among all the watches at the fair, this one sang the loudest, telling me that today is the day when it gets to home on my wrist. And so, I am wearing it as I write. The titanium bracelet is brilliant, luckily fitting very comfortably on my wrist with no "misfitting" issues others have reported. And the more I look at it, the happier I am that I decided to add this to my collection, finally.

I see them often on the internet for sale. The price stays stable. Safe feeling that it needs no rush, so i can take my time to decide.

Great purchase Ron!! Big congrats! A superb variant…

It's really a great watch on it's own, Bond or not. And I agree that of all the Bond Omegas, this is the best in my opinion.

Agree!!

I was worried about the bracelet, as to how it would fit. It fits wonderful on me, and big relief.

Congratulations!

Your patience has paid off with a handsome and thoughtfully executed Bond Seamaster! Much to love in this piece.

Yes, I am glad I finally got it.

. . . will be joining the Bond community here soon. Either that or CK 859, but my money's on Bond. 🕵🏼‍♂️

Bravo! Stunning new addition

And what's interesting, although it is a Seamaster, it doesn't have a date! I now tend to avoid date windows lately, and this one just looks right.

Thanks for the kind message.
